采用AA号电池作为供电介质的相机很多，其好处就是使用成本便宜，购买方便，不过宾得的M10虽然也使用AA电池作为电源，它凭借其全面的节能设计提供了超常的电池使用寿命，AA五号碱性电池可拍约220张，锂电池可拍约920张，近乎7倍寿命于传统型号，这可不是什么产品都能具备的。目前这款DC的价格只要888元，非常适合入门级用户使用。

    宾得M10在配置上很主流，它采用一枚1/2.5英寸、600万有效像素的CCD，最大拍摄分辨率为2816X2112。使用3倍光学变焦镜头，镜头结构为5组6片，含有2枚非球面镜片，其焦距相当于传统35mm相机的35-105mm，最大光圈为F2.8-F4.9，能有效地补偿各种畸变，同时优化600万像素的表现。不过出于成本考虑，M10并没有采用宾得著名的SMC技术镜头。M10的短片支持最高320x240，30FPS拍摄，但不支持MPEG4格式。感光度范围为ISO64-ISO400。快门速度范围是4-1/5000秒。
