NV20显卡首次网上曝光

　　最近从网上，了解到NV20相关资料，NV20采用的是0.15到0.13微米工艺，拥有核心晶体管3到5千万个，采用4条渲染管道，每条管道的采用3个纹理单元，核心频率达到300MHz，内存速度达到250MHz（DDR）并且带宽达到8G/S，像素填充率达到每秒12亿，纹理填充率达到每秒36亿，三角形生成速度达到每秒钟1.5亿个。

　　官方的解释：“The one interesting thing is that the NV20 will stay at the 300MHz mark while the X-Box GPU is dropping to 250MHz. Is it that the X-Box has poor cooling, or more transistors, or is it that the NV20 is not as complex as the GPU-X which Allard claims to be NV27.5。

　　There will have to be some form of HSR or Z-buffer compression, or the NV20 will perform no better than an overclocked Ultra in current games. I have a card with a 250MHz DDR memory clock (8Gb/s) and in 32-bit color, I am limited to about one third of the theoretical limit of 1140MPixels。”
