Gateway披露08年笔记本电脑产品计划细节

    11月6日消息，据外电报道，宏基曾明确表示它对Gateway的收购将给这家美国公司的笔记本电脑产品线带来新的东西。但是，在2008年第一季度，Gateway的新款笔记本电脑仍在设计之中。

    Gateway媒体关系经理Lisa Emard称，Gateway计划在2008年第一季度推出专门为游戏玩家设计的第一款高端笔记本电脑，并且对其C系列、M系列、T系列和P系列笔记本电脑提供更新的颜色和功能。

    Emard称，游戏是高速增长的产品种类。Gateway在这个领域一直很成功。我们将继续为所有的平台提供创新的产品。Gateway第一款全新的笔记本电脑产品将是一种消费者笔记本电脑。这种笔记本电脑将在2008年圣诞节前推出。

    至于宏基对Gateway笔记本电脑产品的影响，消费者还得等着瞧。宏基公共关系高级经理Henry Wang称，Gateway在2008年第一季度还不会推出具有宏基风格和技术或者设计的笔记本电脑。

    Wang表示，宏基计划对Gateway的产品路线图进行评估，看看能够在什么地方做出修改以便增强和扩大其产品。
