Palm应向谷歌投降 5大理由使其采用Android

    11月7日消息，据国外媒体报道，针对Google刚刚发布的Android移动平台，有业内人士日前指出，Palm应该放弃自己的移动系统Palm OS，转而使用Google的Android系统。

    Google本周一宣布，与30多家业内企业成立开放手机联盟( OHA )，共同开发Android开源移动平台，争取把手机打造成功能强大的移动计算机。但在这30多家企业中，并不包括Palm、诺基亚、微软、苹果、RIM和Symbian。

    对此，有业内人士指出，Palm自己的移动系统已经过时，Palm必须要承认这一点。因此，转而使用Google的Android系统不失为明智之举，主要原因有以下五点：

    1. Palm系统的用户体验已经过时。

    2. Palm使用Android系统后，可以降低Treo价格，并推出更多机型。

    3. 目前Palm的竞争对手微软、诺基亚和RIM等均缺席Google联盟。

    4. Palm已经不再是一家操作系统公司。

    5. Palm需要进行一些激进改革。
