杨致远:雅虎并不糟糕我是力挽危局正确人选

    【赛迪网讯】11月1日消息，据国外媒体报道，雅虎CEO杨致远近日表示，其实雅虎在过去几年中的表现并不是十分糟糕，因此有能力拯救雅虎。

    杨致远说：“用‘出错’来形容雅虎在过去几年中的表现是不准确的。看看雅虎在过去几年中的表现，营收额高达50亿美元，运营现金流超过19亿美元。因此，人们不应该用那样的眼光看待雅虎。雅虎今天已经成为一个伟大的消费品牌，最知名的互联网品牌之一。”

    至于前任CEO特里·塞梅尔，杨致远称塞梅尔是他的良师益友，并对他的表现表示肯定。雅虎今年6月宣布，联合创始人杨致远取代塞梅尔出任公司新任CEO。

    杨致远还认为，他是扭转雅虎当前不利局面的正确人选。他说：“我了解公司的历史，了解公司的现状，我也希望我能了解公司的未来。”毫无疑问，这也是雅虎股东所期望的。
