雅虎加速进军手机广告业欲与谷歌一争高下

    11月9日消息，雅虎移动事业主管Marco Boerries正在加快前进步伐,希望能抢在谷歌的手机战略启动之前签下手机分销协议,以此获得大量广告客户。

    据国外媒体报道，Boerries在接受专访时表示,雅虎的手机广告战略涉及三方面的合作关系,包括设备生产商、网络运营商以及互联网服务商。

    与谷歌不同的是,雅虎将重点放于手机广告交易,无意像其竞争对手那样涉足手机软件设计领域。Boerries称：“这场竞赛就是要争出究竟谁拥有最大的合作伙伴资源,谁有最大的页面浏览量。”

    谷歌似乎想从正面进攻手机产业，这使得它在将来有一天可能成为一家大型手机制造商，但这需要一定时间。Boerries表示，谷歌已将精力从广告收入转向技术，而广告收入才是互联网厂商的血脉。

    雅虎将提供在线搜索功能,使手机用户能够更方便地使用互联网服务。雅虎认为,只有签下手机分销协议之后才能与网络运营商达成广告支持服务协议。

    但不容乐观的是，投资者会对谷歌的前景感到吃惊，其股价已飞涨到了750美元的新高。而雅虎的股价在本周却下跌了11%，跌到了27.9美元。

    据悉，谷歌与33家业界厂商签订了合作伙伴关系，而雅虎也已经与诺基亚、摩托罗拉、三星电子、LG电子和宏达国际等重要厂商签定了协议,在部分机型上推出搜索、电子邮件及定位等服务。与雅虎合作的运营商包括沃达丰、和记黄埔旗下的3。最近他们又与西班牙的Telefonica签下协议,其业务覆盖欧洲几大国家和拉美大部分地区,拥有1亿用户。雅虎还与东南亚和印度的6家手机运营商签署了广告协议，北亚将是其下一个目标。
