　　索尼N2是目前索尼便携DC当中配置较高的机型，是索尼首款手写LCD卡片数码相机N1的后继机型。和N1相比，两者之间的区别不大，不同的是N2配备了像素更加高的CCD，1/1.8英寸，1010万像素足够保证打印大幅图像的需要。由于采用了N2装备了3倍光学变焦的卡尔·蔡司“Vario-Tessar”镜头，而且并非潜望式镜头，因此具较高的解析度、和较强的色彩还原能力。

不过完美的事物总是不多的，N2没有采用已经成为主流的光学防抖功能，而是用“清晰原始降噪技术”，凭借较高的感光度提升快门速度来达到防抖得目的，即便在ISO1600的情况下依然可以拥有比较洁净的画面质量。但相对光学防抖来说画质还是有所差距的。拍摄之余，用户还可以在3.0英寸的触摸屏上随意涂鸦，大大增加了拍摄的乐趣。
