    AMD 770芯片组的南桥芯片采用的是AMD SB600芯片，这在当时也是AMD方面最高规格的南桥芯片，其提供了包括SATA2磁盘以及磁盘Raid等多种I/O功能，不过往往南桥芯片所提供的功能并不能让挑剔的消费者满意，因此厂商方面也常常利用板载第三方芯片的方式来完善主板的I/O功能，最常见的就是板载SATA2芯片或1394芯片以及一些桥接芯片。

    升技在这款主板上的确很下功夫，其SATA2和IDE插槽也进行了转向处理，相当具有实用性，杜绝了长版显卡会遮挡SATA2/IDE接口的问题，而映泰则在南桥附近设置了主板Power和Reset按键，方便了裸机使用的用户。而其他各款主板的接口处理都相对类似，并没有太多特别的地方。
