　　虽说Z6是全新机型，但与Z3看起来差别不大。两者的一大区别在于机身中央的按键。为了增加音乐形象，MOTO 特别在机身中央五向键作了调整。上网快捷键的地球符号变成了音符，一看就知道具有快速激活音乐之用；五向键的上下左右也统统和音乐相关，用来控制歌曲播放。

摩托罗拉RIZR Z6也内置有200万像素摄像头，具备自拍镜和全屏取景功能，支持数码变焦和风景模式等拍摄功能设置，也能够拍摄MPEG-4和3GP规格的视频录像。可在手机上回放MPEG-4、3GPP、h.263等格式视频文件。至于手机的其他功能方面，摩托罗拉RIZRZ6还支持PC synch同步和飞行模式，支持MMS/SMS和IM 信息,电子邮件/POP3收发等功能。

总的来看，摩托罗拉RIZR Z6尽管搭载了Linux操作系统，但很明显和E2等手机一样并不支持手写功能，并且手机的主要功能也锁定在娱乐上。通过最新的Windows Media Player 11播放器让用户可获得与Z3截然不同的音乐体验。因此可以说，RIZR Z6其实就是RIZR Z3的智能升级版本。而从这个角度来说，可以预见RIZR Z6的上市价格将不会太高。
