　　美国有超过1000万人不能分辨红色和绿色，然而这些患者中仅有60万是女性，这是为什么呢？因为负责形成红绿感受器的基因位于X染色体，男性仅有一个继承自母亲的X染色体，而女性有两个。因此对女性来说，即使其中一个基因出现异常，另一个正常基因也能单独工作。
