　　Joseph Cho is CTO of Alcatel China with the responsibility in local technology incubation, R&D, network strategies, bids and network solution design.
　　
　　Before joining Alcatel China, Joseph was the Assistant Vice President of Sales Support for Alcatel‘s Carrier Internetwork Division, Asia Pacific. Prior to the assignment, he was Assistant Vice President of Newbridge Networks Asia Ltd. in charge of the regional organization of network design and system consulting. Before Newbridge, he was Senior Manager with Ascom Timeplex, managing the pre-sales and post-sales support departments for Asia Pacific.
　　
　　From 1984 to 1993, Joseph worked in USA on broad R&D areas including embedded systems, Unix kernel, X11 window as well as IP and SNA protocol development. He worked in San Jose for Fujitsu/Amdahl.
　　
　　Joseph Cho graduated with a B.Sc. (1984) & M.Sc. (1985) degrees in EE from the University of Rochester, N.Y., USA
