    今年8月，德国的玛格丽特-华格纳终于接受手术，移除了插进她头部长达55年的一支铅笔。据报道，事故发生在她4岁时，手里拿着铅笔的她不小心摔了一跤，铅笔插进了头部，从那以后，这位德国妇女一直遭受着慢性头痛和鼻出血的折磨。她说：“这支铅笔正好穿过我的头皮消失在我的脑袋里。”

    当时，因为技术不成熟，手术风险太大，所以医生不敢做开脑手术移除这支长3英寸的铅笔。幸运的是，这支铅笔没有刺穿脑部任何重要的部位。不过，随着科学技术的不断发展，今年夏天，柏林的外科医生终于顺利地移除了整支铅笔。不过，铅笔的前端依然留在了华格纳的脑袋中。
