赛格星际G2046和普遍的PPC一样，在通讯功能上都有着出色的表现。多样式的名片管理是PPC家族的看家本领，内置的SIM卡管理可以轻松管理卡与手机之间的联系人信息。机身还内置了POCKET MSN，很多MSN用户可以很轻松地进行交流（虽然有很多网友都表示并没有用到这一功能）。
