    袋狼（1936年灭绝）
    
    曾经是世界上最大的有袋类食肉动物，产于澳大利亚和新几内亚。它有个好听的名字叫塔斯马尼亚虎，也许是因为它背部后端的条纹而得到的“虎”名。
    
    澳洲大陆上的袋狼几千年前就已经绝种，而塔斯马尼亚岛上的袋狼一直存活到上世纪30年代，最终，由于人类的过度捕猎，以及疾病、人类及其所养的狗侵占其领域等原因，最后一只袋狼死于1936年。
