    悲观论者：人类的进化已经走到尽头

    英国伦敦大学教授斯蒂夫．琼斯声称，现代人种的正面和负面突变都已经结束。照他看来，人类进化过程是建立在基因能改变活生物体去适应外部周围环境的性能的基础上，可现代人不仅几乎丧失了对生物圈的依赖性，而且自己去改变它。

    俄罗斯国立罗斯托夫大学的科研人员、哲学博士奥列格．瓦西里耶夫也认为，人类具有一些能导致其灭绝的弱点，比如低下的免疫性。瓦西里耶夫还认为，从生物学观点来看这是很自然的事，因为猛犸就已经灭绝。而为了使人类消亡，如今有的是理由，有气候变化因素，也有微生物突变因素，现在微生物都有了抗药性。
