　　在德军遗留的诸多技术资料中，盟军发现了一架形状奇特的飞机照片，这是一架机翼呈圆形的螺旋桨飞机，不同于德军以往的任何飞机。在一座废弃的仓库中，盟军找到了它的残骸——它已经被溃败的德军破坏了，这显然是一种用来试验圆形飞行器的操纵性和空气动力学特征的验证机。

　　圆形飞行器有许多优势，首先是它质心规则，特别适用于垂直起降技术，其次它在雷达波的照射下具有一定的隐身效应。如果能够解决动力和操纵方面的难题，那么这种形状的飞行器将具有极其灵活的机动性，在加装武器后将是一种极为可怕的空战利器。
