3、土耳其圣索非亚大教堂

    据说，土耳其伊斯坦布尔的圣索非亚大教堂改变了建筑史，它开创了间接荷载传递的理念，该建筑的设计师大胆地说，穹顶不必从上直通地面。相反，穹顶以扇形的方式通向更多的圆顶。这一方法的应用促进了建筑业的大发展。当时它成为1000多年来最大的礼拜场所，直到1520年建造了塞维利亚大教堂。
